The Women's Division 2 season is coming to an exciting close as only pole position from each division is secured heading into the final 2 weeks.
Western Division:

With Atlanta 2.0 securing first, Augusta and Savannah are separated by just 4 points on the table as of right now. Augusta got the better of Savannah back in October of last year, with a convincing 43-10 victory on home soil. Augusta team up with the Charlotte Barbarians this weekend in an attempt to scalp a win away from Charlotte at the Skillbeck Grounds. They follow this up with a final home matchup against Fear The Maniacs.
Savannah on the other hand are reliant on games outside their control, a match against Fayetteville has already been postponed due to the snowstorm earlier this year, and the rescheduled match from February 28th does not feature a score line. They need a win from that plus a win against Fear The Maniacs this Saturday. They also need Augusta to lose at least once in the two games mentioned above.
Atlanta finish their regular season on the road against Eno River this Saturday. They are slated to host their CGRU Semifinal on March 28th.
Eastern Division:

Charlotte have secured the East going undefeated through 6 matches and only have Augusta to worry about for the remainder of the season. They play host to the Western runner-up on March 28th.
Fayetteville and Eno River are dead even on points heading into this weekend. The Valkyries took down Eno River back in Mid-November, with a 60-21 rout. It almost makes sense to give them a return fixture to sort the playoff contest out on the field.
Fayetteville only has that unconfirmed matchup against Savannah from the end of February, while Eno River have the tall task of earning a result against Atlanta this Saturday. Funny enough, Eno River would earn the right to do it all over again should they win this playoff race, only next time travelling down to Atlanta for the CGRU Semifinals.
Fear The Maniacs are in the most fun position possible while contesting for a playoff spot. They sit just 3 points behind FVL and ER. On top of that, they play spoiler to the end of both Savannah and Augusta's regular seasons. Because of this, Fear has near total influence in the outcomes of the opposite division, needing wins to secure their destiny in their own division. Could The Maniacs muster up some drama to enter the post-season on a high note?
